Mike lives in Stockton on Tees in the North East of England and has been involved in photography for many years with interests in architectural and landscape photography.

He recently completed a degree in Commercial Photography at Cleveland College of Art and Design (accredited by The University of Teesside) and now specialises in Architectural, Construction and Industrial Photography.

 

Mike is a fully qualified Professional Photographer gaining Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (LBIPP) in 2012.

He works with Professional digital photographic equipment and is also an experienced traditional film user and darkroom worker.

With a Project Engineering and Design background, predominantly petrochemicals construction and development, he see’s structures and projects through a designer’s eye allowing him to produce striking and unique photographs.

He is involved with Top Tier COMAH Petrochemical, Construction and Industrial sites, and has been for many years, and takes site safety very seriously, holding the following Site Safety related passport and certificates:
· Valid Client / Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passport.
· IOSH Certificate: Managing Safely in the Engineering Construction Industry (Onshore).
· ECITB Training Certificate: Supervisory Management Training & Development Core Module in Site Safety.
· Confined Space Trained.

Mike has always been passionate about his photography work and always strives to produce high quality images capturing the essence of the place or moment, even in challenging site environments.  He is also a keen Landscape Photographer, when time permits.

He was honoured as a nominee in the 10th annual black and white spider awards 2015.
